Cuddly and Laid-Back

Black Capped Conures love to snuggle! They will nestle against their owner's neck and love to sleep in a fuzzy (or flannel) 'huddle house'. Their neck feathering is quite striking. The black and white feathers are arranged in a wide band of chevron-shaped ... almost scale-like pattern.

Hand fed and hand tame Black Capped Conures make great pets. They can learn to mimic simple words and sounds. Like the Green Cheek and Painted Conures, they have a relatively quiet disposition.
